Bill Scott (President/CEO) of StoreReport and StoreReport.ai, began his computer career in 1977. After serving in the United States Air Force in the field of Airborne Navigational Radar- ARN-59, IFF, ILS and TACAN maintenance, Bill's interests turned to computers, and in 1981, he released his first computer application for retailers, specializing in convenience store operations mainly because his first oil distributor customer owned a chain of six small retail stores. In the year 1989, IBM launched its AS/400 computer system and Bill updated his software for OS/400, and in March 2000, ported his applications to run on IBM's new WebServer and Bill's software became the first Cloud Computing provider in the world with an ERP solution for oil distributors and independent retailers. Bill became immersed in Artificial Intelligence back in 1989 when he studied James Martin's series entitled "Information Engneering - Planning, Analysis, Design and Construction" and soon after, incorporated Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Bill has spoken at many IBM facilities in the Mainland USA and Hawaii where he was an IBM Business Partner for many years. In Honolulu, Bill presented to a group of 12 IT specialists from Daichi-Kangyo Bank of Tokyo on the use of Synon-2E, the first CASE tool for generating IBM computer code. Bill is an accountant, a speaker, an inventory control speialists, a businessman, the author of several books and hundreds of articles and continues to service his customers - one in particular has a chain of 52 retail locations and has been using Bill's system for 40 years. Bill has provided services for wholesalers and retailers for 45 years and Bill and his staff have always been pioneers in the field of data processing.
Phil Kenley (Vice President/CFO) and Bill met in 1992, when Phil had been hired to replace an office manager that was doing a poor job of running the computer system Bill had sold the company. When Bill worked with Phil for a few weeks to bring him up to speed on his oil marketing and retail store software, Bill recognized that Phil Kenley was the kind of person that Bill needed to become a parner in business. That was 31 years ago. Phill also moonlights as an Administrative consultant for his son at Kenery Oilfield Solutions in San Marcos, TX and through his association with Bill was the Controller for Fred Garrison Oil Company on the Texas Panhandle. Phil is a brilliant accountant, has subperb business sense an gifted organizer and an excellent teacher. Phil is more than just a friend. Phil doubles as Bill's backup whenever required.
Maricel Labidi With over two decades of experience in the IT field of Retail/Supply Chain industry, she has played a technical lead role in many MIS projects. Implemented medium-to-large-scale’ projects. Have extensive knowledge in the areas of supply chain, retail, merchandising, financials, ecommerce, etc with vast experience using ERP applications such JDA/MMS-all versions (Blue Yonder/JDA), Manhattan's Warehouse Management System (WMOS/WMS/PKMS), FRY/Ecommerce (Site Framework), Vertex Tax Application System, etc. Technical expertise includes but not limited to setting up HTTP/web servers, CGI programming and programming using FREE or ILE RPG, COBOL/400 and writing complex SQL in IBM i platform, IBM i WEBQUERY. Oracle, MySQL, SQL databases. Has advanced knowledge in using managed file transfer, Goanywhere, MOVEit, SFTP, FTP, Javascript, HTML, XML, i-series web server and MS/SQL, Oracle, MYSQL server. Wheneven we are confronted with a POS system that's not wanting to give up it's data, we call Maricel.
Andrea M. Scott, PhD Andrea Holds a PhD in Computational Chemistry, but for the past 20 years she has spent most of her time training employees because of her exoerience in teaching college level courses in employee management and employee development. Andrea knows how to train managers to motivate employees to do a better job. Dr. Scott's special gift is putting teams together, training them through Zoom meetings or in one on one discusssions, break-out sessions, developing high quality training materials and presenting them in a way atendees won't soon forget. Andrea has been working with Bill for 20 years and is a patient and excellent teacher. Everybody loves working with Andrea.
Mel Haynes, Sr. is an Analytic genius. He and Bill have been working together for over a decade. One day Mel called Bill and said, "Do you know that Golden Flake Potato Chips drives Cocal Cola sales?" For Mel, finding the data is child's play. Discovering what the data is about is where the genius comes into play. To Mel, data is like a puzzle. Mel's favorite saying is, "It's not about making more money, it's about losing less." Some data is good Solutions Architect adept at designing and implementing effective data driven business solutions. Advanced levels of technical knowledge combined with sound business vision and project management skills. Exceptional problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with broad understanding of business, technology, databases, Enterprise Architecture and related applications. Mel has extensive knowledge in Human Capital Management including sourcing and procurement assistance, Enterprise Architecture Consulting, Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Finance and Accounting, Designing and Implementation of IT Systems, Infrastructure Optimization, Data Management and Big data analysis, IT Metrics and dashboards, and Project Management Support.
